The Piper o' the Glen Trilogy

What if the torture, and war of medieval Britain, was actually the work of an Alien culture marooned in Scotland in the early 1600’s? Could, William Wallace, William long shanks, even Hitler and Mussolini, possibly have been descendants of these Alien Beings? What if the most cruel and ruthless dictators, the world has ever known, were all from another world? This is the story of “The Piper O’ the Glen”. The first of three, in the Piper Trilogy.
The Story
Two brothers, Griegor, the ruler of the Azorean people, and Cormack, a maniacal terrorist, are locked in a mortal struggle that began on Azorea, but continues on Planet Earth.
Cormack’s reckless actions bring about the destruction of one third of his people. Their death, a result of a lethal radioactive vapor, created from the destruction of their nuclear reactors. Many find shelter, in the underground labyrinth of mines; however, those unable to do so, are horribly altered. Their right cerebral cortex is changed, from healthy tissue, to useless cartilage, leaving them devoid of love, compassion, or concern for others. They became bloodthirsty aggressors, respecting only power and violence. They are called, LeathMairbh (Lee-ache-Mah-rav), or “Half Dead”.
They are now a culture divided, needing to escape a dying planet, doomed by years of underground mining. The massive explosion of their reactors, culminate in the destruction of Azorea. They board transports, bound for a new world. Most have successfully departed; only a small handful of vessels remain. Of those, only four are able to leave, before the planets final explosion cripples their vessels, sending them hurling through space. Helpless now, they surrender themselves to fate. Two transports contain the Azoreans, led by Griegor; the other two carry the loathsome LeathMairbh, led by Cormack, the author of this apocalyptic disaster.
Both factions are now marooned on Earth. The vile LeathMairbh begin their campaign of death, destruction, and terror, which they unleash upon the unwitting inhabitants of 16th century Scotland. It’s up to Griegor, and his people, to stop them. Will they be able to do so before it’s too late? This is their story.
The Piper O’ the Glen is an epic tale of good versus evil; it entwines science fiction with historical fiction, to deliver an intriguing tale of the struggle for Britain. Told from the Azorean Perspective; the truth about famous historical events, such as “The massacre of Glencoe”, “The Jacobite uprising”, “The massacre of Clan Lamont”, “Oliver Cromwell’s abolition of the monarchy”, and much more, are revealed. Integral to the story, is the charm and feel of the highland people; their language and their culture. It is set in the northern highlands of Scotland, but eventually encompasses the whole of Britain.
